JUNE 4 AND 5, 2026
At McGill University
Please join us for SYNTHÈSE, a free public conference and a two-day forum convening Canada’s academic, business, and government leaders, healthcare innovators, and philanthropists committed to bridging the gap between fundamental research and clinical implementation on a global scale. Together we are positioning Montreal’s academic, business and research communities, at McGill and beyond, as true international leaders, at a pivotal time when global scientific leadership is needed the most.
This event is rooted in the leading edge work of the Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Institute of McGill University, and the groundbreaking discoveries of Nahum Sonenberg which are transforming healthcare innovation globally.
Your presence and support at SYNTHÈSE will strengthen your connections within Quebec and Canada while reinforcing your key leadership in the global field.

SANTÉ GALA
June 15, 2022
Prime Minister Trudeau and Premier Legault announced, at our Institute in April, that Moderna is investing $180M to build a vaccine manufacturing facility in Montréal. Representatives of Moderna then spoke at our successful 2022 Santé Gala, where a fellowship was launched thanks to the generous support of AMD Medicom and CDL ELNA Medical. Professor Nahum Sonenberg, of the Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Institute, was also honoured at the Santé Gala for his pioneering work in advancing mRNA vaccine technology in his lab and his collaboration with the Moderna team.
